New Decisions Taken Regarding the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year at Our University

Based on the letter dated March 31, 2023, titled “New decision regarding the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year” from the Higher Education Council Presidency Education-Teaching Department:

- Due to the allocation of student dormitories to earthquake victims, causing accommodation problems, all theoretical and practical courses in academic units (except those currently conducted face-to-face) to be conducted through distance education method until April 24, 2023,

- In all our academic units (except for programs granted special student status and/or containing practical training and conducted face-to-face) midterm exams of the spring semester to be conducted through distance education method between April 08-16, 2023,

- 03 Until April 03, 2023, the “practices related to courses” that have been postponed, to be conducted in the form of assignments, projects, etc. as determined by the academic units, or face-to-face during the spring semester, summer term, or the next academic term,  

- In the evaluations to be conducted; open-ended or multiple-choice online exams, assignments, online quizzes, projects, Learning Management System (LMS) activities, LMS usage analytics, and similar applications can be used,

- The method of education to be applied after April 24, 2023, to be evaluated by our University Senate and announced again at a later date,

As of 03.04.2023, exclusively for the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year, it has been deemed appropriate to be implemented in our University with the University Senate Decision dated March 31, 2023, and numbered 532/1.
